VA Accountancy was established in 2015 by Verity Aldridge. Having worked in large practice and industry, Verity understood the need for pro-active advice for business people that can be relied upon, without the fear of large unexpected bills. We pride ourselves on offering value for money services that our clients trust every time.

About Verity Aldridge

Verity is the owner of VA Accountancy. After many years of working in various sized practices, Verity understood the importance of ensuring that all clients should receive the same high level of service.

Verity founded VA Accountancy in 2015. After many years of working in various sized practices and other business sectors, Verity understood the importance of ensuring that all clients, whatever their business size, should receive the same high level of service.

Verity’s wealth of experience and proactive attitude in embracing change and looking to find new ways of assisting her clients, sets her apart from other accountants. She appreciates that a ‘one size fits all’ approach in the accountancy world is not necessarily best for clients. Clients may wish to adopt this method, which we can offer, although Verity prides herself on offering an adaptive, scalable service to clients which meet their needs now and in the future.

Having been at the forefront of running and developing businesses’ bookkeeping strategies in the past, Verity is all too familiar that this is often an area that business owners may put to one side. However, Verity has successfully helped businesses streamline their processes allowing owners to concentrate on running their business.

Verity is FMAAT accredited, and has over 15 years experience in legal and financial industries. Verity’s hands on experience include business operations, process streamlining, staff management and HR. As well as day to day processes and annual returns, Verity also helps clients with corporate milestones, including acquisitions, mergers, exit strategies and business sales.

Verity’s aim is to provide a comprehensive, professional service to all clients offering bespoke solutions with a full understanding of a client’s needs.

About Tino Verona

Tino formally joined the business in October 2019 bringing with him a background in Customer Service, Sales and IT however, he has been involved in the business behind the scenes since Verity started in 2015.

As a husband and wife team, Tino joins forces with Verity to continue to provide an honest, no nonsense service to their clients. 

Tino continues to be the brains behind our IT infrastructure and will be focussing on rolling out our new cloud-based document sharing platform, providing clients with support for any technical and MTD transition related queries. Tino is also responsible for all our Marketing and Website content and development.

Tino is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, allowing him to offer our clients expert training in due course. Tino will also be carrying out bookkeeping, payroll tasks and tax returns.

Tino’s aim is to introduce a more controlled, streamlined and procedurised approach to VA Accountancy, fine-tuning its current client offering, promoted through the use of software and cloud-based systems and clearer office processes.

About Sophie Wood

Sophie joined VA Accountancy in October 2020 and is responsible for our office administration and is generally the first point of contact for clients.

She brings with her a background in customer service and administration, with her involvement in previous roles such as Administrator, Personal Assistant and Cabin Crew.
Sophie will also be carrying out bookkeeping processing, alongside assisting Verity and Tino to deliver an impeccable customer service experience.

Sophie’s aim is to streamline and manage our office administration and the processes that run alongside.

About Pedro

Pedro is the loudest member of the team and can often be found greeting all visitors with a yap! He is the youngest member of the VA Accountancy team and is known as the Chief Number Cruncher

He is known as the Chief Number Cruncher (more like Chief Biscuit Cruncher), and is responsible for ensuring visitors are welcomed into the office.
